I am a member of WADS (Westerham Amateur Dramatic Society). This latest production was Chekov’s The Seagull. I mainly did sound on this production but I got to do the cast portraits, which were placed in the entrance hall to the theatre, each with character name and the actor’s real name.
These were all shot at F/1.4 or 2.2, to knock out the detail in the background (but leave the essence of the tree/shrubs behind). I think the sepia effect helped create the impression of age. Camera is the EOS 7d, lens is the 50mm F/1.4 Canon.
